All civilizations must believe in something. What is faith? Faith is trust. The question is who or what do you trust. When you trust, it should be solid like a rock, something that you can count on for generation after generation. God reminds us about the foolish man who built his house on sand. (Matthew 7:26-27 “But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Where does you faith lie? Do you put your faith in Government, mankind, or in Almighty God? Do you invite the Holy Spirit to guide you through life each day? Faith provides Hope for the future. Faith is a corner stone which you can build upon. Faith is Truth and Truth is Freedom!
Faith brings comfort to those who believe in God. Our lives are driven by the faith we hold dear to our hearts. If you do not believe in God, your faith must be in something materialistic and for that reason, you will not be interested in the word of God and how it relates to our lives. You see Faith is a pillar of our society, without our faith in God, we have nothing to solidify our trust. Our faith grows as we learn the trials and tribulation of life. We learn by our mistakes and the teaching from our parents and grandparents. Our Faith is challenged by “FEAR”. Recently we witnessed how fear stifled our nation and devastated the world. The Pandemic” scare that paralyzed the world demonstrated how weak our Faith in God has become. Taking safeguard is one thing but to shut down the nation, and stifle our rights is another. Fear is used by evil to control, to divide and conquer. Some say they do not want politics in the church. Pure politics directing the congregants who to vote for in the upcoming election should not be in the church. However, discussing current civil society happenings as it applies to scripture is not pure politics. Reminding the congregation that our nation was built upon “Natural Law”. This is found in “The Declaration of Independence”. “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed—”. I am not advocating that we disband our nation, but I am advocating we stop the aggression of the whims of a few. A simple correlation we are the head and the body of the dog and not the tail. The politicians are the tail. Right now, the dog is not waggy the tail the tail is waggy the dog and consequently the tail has rose to be more powerful. Thus, the tail is body slamming the dog in hopes to destroy the spirit of the dog. This is now happening in America. The political machine has dominated our nation by fear for many years. The atheists spew the term equality for all, Equality for all is here in America. We are all equal in the eyes of our Lord, but we all have different skills and traits. There is no such thing as white privilege as that concept was tucked away in the twentieth century. Discrimination between races, skin color, nationality, and ethnic groups were improving across this nation after the 1960’s. However, certain factions and political groups, and party have subjugated by continuing to commit acts to divide this nation. This same movement has unleashed a frontal attack on our national philosophies, principles and traditions. The movement is attacking our unalienable rights as defined in our founding documents. The have trampled the first amendment of free speech and attacked our religious faiths. We as a nation have gave way to atheistic views, thus trampling our individual rights. We permitted them to indoctrinate our children, driving them away from the principles which made this nation great. What made America exceptional? It’s simple the nation was developed on trust in Almighty God, by your choice and right of religious belief. It wasn’t by the whims of men. We are to be a self-governing nation, not a nation governed by the whims of evil. I give you the statement from the Declaration we give the right to represent us the governed, not to be dictated to by the government. We have lost sight of that concept that they work for us, not the other way around.
We, as a nation must remind ourselves, our Christian values, philosophies, and principles is what made America Great! Our government leaders have a God complex, they want our youth to view them as God. Remember the first commandment states “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3) We must never permit fear to dominate our life! We must never permit this leadership to rewrite and destroy our founding principles. All religious groups are permitted here in America, but they must never be permitted to dominate our founding Christian objectives, principles, philosophies, and traditions. Our government has weaponized segments of the constitution to segregate our society. Furthermore, they unjustly used a letter from President Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Church to define separation of church and state. We have removed prayer from our schools and many of our functions in public life. This has stifled the clergy and have been effective in muting the pulpit, by fear. In 1957 Senator Lyndon B. Johnson of Texas put forth a bill establishing that all churches must comply with IRS code 501c3. Thus, in doing so fear emanated throughout the churches in America. Churches feared that mentioning political things such as society events and happenings that conflicted with God’s word could result in them losing their “Non-For-Profit” status. Then came the PC Police making claims certain words or subjects are offensive and you could be sued for offending someone. Fear, Fear and more fear. Then came the ACLU and the LGBT, suing states over marriage laws and demanding that churches marry same sexes. Now they want transgender to be permitted to participate in the sports as the sex they transition too and not their biological sex. Furthermore, they want to permit open concept of both sexes using the same restroom and dressing room when it come to those who claim they are the opposite sex. This same immoral happening continues as they are promoting Black Skinned people’s lives matter more than white and other skin colors. The “Cancel Culture Woke” movement is advocating that we teach in Public Schools Critical Race Theory (CRT). In addition, they are now stereotyping “White Christians” as privileged, which is not truth. Divide and conquer that is their objective.
We, as a nation of Christians, have moved away from our heritage as a God-Fearing Nation. We have permitted evil foe to intrench and destroy our integrity, respect and moral fiber which built this great nation. Deuteronomy 6:4-7 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” How far must we go before we rise and wake up the righteous? The time is now for a great awakening! It is time for all churches of the Christian Faith to stand united! We need revivals, and reaffirmation of faith. We must turn from the wickedness and ask God to heal our land! (II Chronicles 7:14). We must fight the good fight and never waiver. I will stand with Jesus and be His Friend and never become a friend of the World! The question is where do you stand?
